This Wife (and mom) Wouldn’t be Caught Dead Wearing Mom Jeans: Floral’s Darker side

Celebrities including Kerry Washington, Diane Kruger, Zoe Saldana & Jana Kramer are all embracing the darker side of flowers for fall! In particular, Jana Kramer, wore a floral watercolor printed organza THEIA gown with a long sleeve crepe bodice to the CMA Awards last week.

So the real question is- can a REAL woman with Real curves pull off this trend? Here are a few different ways to rock Floral’s Darker Side- which do you think would best suit your body type?

Jana Kramer in THEIA: I think even a petite girl like me could rock this trend- slimming yet adds a pop of color with the floral detailing.

Diane Kruger in Chanel: While this pattern might seem a bit too busy for me- the fact that it is strapless, gives its wearer more of a shape.

Jessica Stam in Valentino: This dress is truly breathtaking, but in my opinion would overwhelm a petite girl like me- and can only be worn by a STICK THIN and statuesque woman.

Kerry Washington in Prabal Gurung: I am COMPLETELY enamored with this dress. Fun, flirty and yes seriously sexy and oh so curve hugging.

Zoe Saldana in Alexander McQueen– As if Alexander McQueen could do ANY wrong- this is the quintessential cocktail dress and the FLORAL POWER is FIERCE.

Which one is your favorite Floral Fall Dress?

I can’t pull of a flower print but those woman rocked it. I just don’t think the Valentino dress should hide a woman’s body. It was covered too much. Her body is beautiful. Have it, flaunt it :)
