Do you LOVE your land line? Me too and I’m giving away a FABULOUS VTech landline system that will WOW the pants off you!

CONGRATS  to our winner LoriNKY

In case you didn’t know I married an older gentleman, “technically” some might call him my sugar daddy. And being a product of the sixties, with his heyday peaking in the eighties- he has yet to fully embrace this new technological world we currently reside in. He’s also a prety stubborn guy whose favorite phrase is, “if it aint broke why fix it”

So while we have FINALLY upgraded our rotary phone to a brand spanking new VTech system.. it is unlikely, living with my sugar daddy that we’ll ever do away with our land line. And to be honest I kind of like the idea of having a house phone- and since V-tech’s very cool streamlined systems make land-line phones seem anything but obsolete my husband and I have found our ultimate happy medium.

So just what is this latest VTech product that the husband and I are all gaga for?  It’s their VTech  LS6475-3 cordless telephone, which in my humble opinion,  incorporates several unique, versatile  and just plain useful features I’ve yet to see another landline company bring to fruition within their product line.

So just what are these cool features?

  • Includes cordless headset with multiple wearing options
  • Push-to-Talk intercom
  • Audibly announces the name and number of the caller on all of the handsets and base unit.
  • DECT 6.0 Digital technology provides the best sound quality, security and range in cordless phones.
  • Interference free for crystal clear conversations—won’t interfere with wireless networks and other electronic devices
  • Protects one from identity theft with digital security—your call is digitized and encrypted, making it nearly impossible for someone to eavesdrop.
  • Expandable up to 12 handsets using only one phone jack—via accessory handsets
  • You can return phone calls and recall numbers with 100 name and number caller ID memory. (*Caller ID service requires a subscription from your local telephone company.)
  • Digital answering system—no tapes or moving parts
  • With just the touch of a button, hands-free conversations are made easy with the handset speakerphone.
  • Conference and outside call between handsets
  • 50 name and number phonebook directory—easily store and dial frequently called numbers
  • Blue back-lit keypad and display
  • Trilingual prompts—choose between English, Spanish or French

That’s right– you get your phone- charge up the batteries, put on the headset which is included and you can walk and talk on your landline phone hands free– with pretty great reception- for a good 7-9 hours, without  the charge dying on you! And the headset offers features like volume adjustment… so really who says you need to use your cell phone when you’re home.. and best part- no problem with brain cellls ( you know just in case cell phones do have some health related issues…I can let my 10 year old YAP her little head off on this phone ( and she loves using that headset!)

So favorite readers  of mine I’m giving away ONE of these VTech phone systems to one lucky reader! To enter leave a comment here with your favorite tech gadget and why! For a second entry you can like us on Facebook at Married my sugar daddy and for a third entry you can follow me on Twitter at Madijack and retweet this giveaway.

Good luck-giveaway ends July 5th!

My favorite tech gadget has to be my iPad. It’s literally the greatest thing i’ve ever had. I can use it with my 10 month old to play learning games (She already knows how to tap to get to the next card), or i can curl up and use it as a book or watch a show or a movie when the TV is too loud and i don’t want to wake the baby up because she hears EVERYTHING.

THe phone would come in handy because our telephone broke months ago and i just never replaced it, lol.

I already follow you on twitter and I just retweeted. :)

My face tech gadget is definitely my iPad. I just got it last week for my birthday, and I’m hooked! Before that it was my Android phone. Sometimes I’m working both at once! My husband wonders what happened to me. Haha!

This is a great giveaway, especially since our cordless phones are on the verge of going kaput. I’ll never give up my landline either. I prefer it for calls over my cell any day. My cell is just good for everything else!

  5. Aisling says

Since I don’t have an iPad yet, my favorite electronic gadget remains my iPod Nano. I love the convenience and the ability to listen to “my” favorite music wherever I am.

I do not own a cell phone and don’t plan on ever losing my land line phone. While I love hi-tech and certainly love my computer,I find cell phones very annoying !
Everyone I know is texting to someone every minute, cannot have a normal visit with anyone, they are constantly on the phone.I hate it ! Cell phones do have one good use, thats for anytime I’m traveling,to call for help if my car breaks down or someone needs a doctor, fireman or police help.So I’m with you Sugar Daddy,Landlines are here to stay !

My favorite gadget….hmmmmmm….I really dig my iPod. I’m a library lady and while I love my job, I need something to keep me entertained while shelving books. I get plenty of that listening to podcasts on my iPod.

I want to thank you for giving me the chance to win something so nice for my wife. She loves and raises our four daughters and cares for me. She has to be on the phone a lot lately because her father has congestive heart failure. He lives far away and this upsets her daily. Being able to have a headset would be life changing for her because she could talk longer while chasing the kids around. Thank you so much for this chance and good luck to everyone!

You really make it seem really easy along with your presentation but I to find this matter to be actually something that I feel I’d by no means understand. It sort of feels too complicated and very large for me. I’m taking a look forward on your next put up, I will attempt to get the hang of it!
