Celebrate the summer with Married My Sugar Daddy and Frito-Lay and win a $50 Visa Giftcard #FritoLaySummer

Congrats to our winner Neiddy!

The one thing I love about my husband is that he has proudly taken on the job of cook and recipe developer in our house and has NEVER made me feel guilty about my lack of culinary skills. And I am not going to lie- each time he whips up a new dip, soup, salad or pudding well he gets another piece of my heart. Being that it is summer and the season of THE CHIP ( as they are the easiest thing to tote around when you are on the go whether to the pool, playground or a picnic) he LITERALLY JUMPED at the opportunity to co-host  a Frito-Lay Summer party with yours truly! Not only did we get to fill the house with Tostitos® and Lay’s®  but he also developed his own vegetable based recipe using healthy and simple ingredients which we paired with Lay’s® Classic potato chips and he tried his hand at whipping up a Black Bean Corn Bites dip recipe which we paired with Tostitos® Scoops!® tortilla chips!

The best part about these dips is that they are incredibly healthy and a wonderful way to get your daily serving of veggies and fiber and as a non cooker- I’m pretty sure I could handle whipping them up too!

Our Ingredients!

Prepping our Black Bean Corn Bites dip recipe to be paired with Tostitos® Scoops!® tortilla chips!

And then it was onto my husband’s SPECIAL Guacamole which we paired with Lay’s® Classic potato chips

It’s a good thing we bought lots of Frito-Lay chips because my son had gone through the first two bags before we even set up for our guests! Frito-Lay is truly the perfect summer snack for however you celebrate, whether you’re relaxing and unwinding at home with Lay’s® Classic potato chips or celebrating summer with Tostitos® Scoops!® tortilla chips at a backyard party.

And finally we have  our FINISHED products and a little decoration for our GUESTS!!

We had so much fun making these recipes -er I mean my sugar daddy had fun making them – and of course I had fun taste testing them and our guests LOVED them!

A few tips to keep in mind!

Not all chips are created equal! Look for chips made with simple ingredients, like Lay’s® Classic potato chips, made with potatoes, oils and salt, and Tostitos® Scoops!® tortilla chips, made with corn, oils and salt.

Use your favorite chips as a vehicle to scoop up extra nutrition by pairing them with wholesome dips, like bean dip or veggie filled salsa, such as these Corn and Black Bean Bites.

My summer hair care tip comes from my hairdresser. I swim alot so she said to put olive oil in my hair and wrap it into a towel. My hair was so dry and this did help alot.

Before going to the beach or pool, put some deep-conditioner on your hair, comb it through, and put it in a bun or ponytail so the heat can really help to deep condition your hair.

Using mouse after showering will make your hair lighter, especially when it dries and you normally have thick hair. Works for me!

Summer hair care tip: Don’t wear hats or caps for too long. Let your head, scalp and hair “breathe.”

  11. Olivia Rubin says

Okay, not sure why you want a summer hair tip for Fritos…hmm maybe to prevent hair falling into the chips and guacamole. I would say to not use to many chemical products. I use Loreal Kids shampoo and am done. And no hair falls in my chips and dip

  12. Laura Jacobson says

My hair care tip for the summer that I heard was to shampoo less often during the summer months to that your hair can absorb the oils so it wont dry out as much.

  13. Neiddy says

My advice is to protect your hair from the sun wear a hat, cap or wrap or you can always braid your hair
